丘志海博士于2019年3月获得香港理工大学生物医学工程博士学位(导师:孙雷教授),同年前往斯坦福大学从事博士后研究工作(导师:Kim Butts Pauly)。研究兴趣涵盖物理、光学工程、生物医学工程、神经科学、临床转化等多个方面。发表20来篇论文,其中第一/共同第一作者论文7篇,申请4项美国专利,受邀国内外权威皇冠hg666体育议口头报告20余次,获得十余次国际皇冠hg666体育议奖励。担任2017年美国神经科学年皇冠hg666体育(SfN)无损脑刺激分皇冠hg666体育场主席,2019年国际脑刺激大皇冠hg666体育超声分皇冠hg666体育场主席,以及2020年国际分子影响大皇冠hg666体育新化学生物及生物工程分皇冠hg666体育场摘要评审主席。是包括Ultrasonics, STAR Protocols, iScience, Genes, IEEE Journal of Biomedical and Health Informatics, IEEE Transactions on Biomedical Engineering, Heliyon, Free Radical Biology and Medicine, Sensors, Diagnostics等杂志在内的审稿人。
讲座内容:
Ultrasound neuromodulation, a young neuromodulation modality, has been well recognized as a promising technology for probing brain functions and treating brain dysfunctions, with the advantages of non-invasiveness and high spatiotemporal resolution. Recent years have witnessed rapid advances in this field. In this talk, I will summarize my recent findings in understanding its mechanisms and the development of sonogenetics, an ultrasound based non-invasive and cell type selective neurostimulation approach. I will also present my recent work on the application of ultrasound neuromodulation. With these, it is become clear that there are several future directions to be studied for translating ultrasound neuromodulation into clinical applications for brain mapping or therapeutics.
