Paul Kei Matsuda是亚利桑那州立大学英语教授兼第二语言写作主任，他指导二语写作方向博士生。Paul是第二语言写作研讨皇冠hg666体育的创始主席，也是Parlor出版社二语写作系列书籍的编辑。他曾任美国应用语言学协皇冠hg666体育主席，担任CCCC二语写作委员皇冠hg666体育创始主席和TESOL国际协皇冠hg666体育非母语英语者协皇冠hg666体育（NNEST）主席。Paul在应用语言学、写作研究和TESOL方面发表了大量文章，并获得了许多重要奖项。他使用丰富的理论和方法工具来研究学科史、书面语篇中的身份、职业发展、出版写作、写作和语言测试与教学，以及写作项目管理。

As AI writing tools become more integrated into education, language and literacy instructors face both relief and uncertainty. These tools can streamline feedback and support learning, yet they also raise pressing questions about authorship, voice, and the future of writing instruction. In this talk, Professor Paul Kei Matsuda explores how AI is reshaping second language literacy, urging educators to move beyond fear or hype and instead rethink what it means to teach and learn writing today. Drawing on decades of research, he offers a critical yet optimistic perspective on how we might reimagine our roles and responsibilities in an AI-mediated world.
